My 14900KF scores 1580 in Cinebench 2024, some way off the 2200 shown in CGI Directors benchmarks. I'm curious what others are getting and how I would improve my results if the listed ones are correct?

I've ran the Intel XTU utility and can see the cpu is thermally throttled when stress tested. I also used the utility to optimize the defaults settings etc. My Cinebench score is with these settings.

Win 11 Pro
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z690-A D4
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15S

I've also attached a screenshot of the XTU settings.

An advice here would be greatly appreciated as I want to eek out as much as I can for cpu rendering.

What do your temps look like during a run?

Hey Alex - at default settings high 80's, low 90's. This was with the power restricted in the bios etc. If unlocked and over clocked via XTC some of the P cores hit 100c. System became very unstable. P cores were at 5300 MHz, E cores were 4100 I think, can't remember.

Browsing around it seems those high Cinebench scores were achieved by syncing all cores and crazy cooling, one guy only managed with with liquid nitrogen. I can't imagine it would be a stable system to work with, just done to achieve a benchmark.
