Second time asking for advice here (first build is still going strong!) A family friend is a recent graduate with an animation degree, though he hasn’t landed an animation-related job yet. He does some freelance animation work on occasion, but I believe this computer will largely be used for gaming.

He was given an i9 12900k CPU and we were talking last night about what he could build around that. I put some things in a pcpartpicker list for him to start looking at, and he excitedly went home and bought all those parts. So, what do you think? Would this work? Returning something would be a hassle, but I think the CPU is the only thing that definitely could not be returned, if needed.

His budget was around $1000, not counting the CPU. I think he has spent roughly that, but there may be some wiggle room. He’s buying in the US.

CPU: Intel Core i9-12900K 3.2 GHz 16-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: ID-COOLING SE-214-XT ARGB 68.2 CFM CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock B760M Steel Legend WiFi Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: Silicon Power XPOWER Pulse Gaming 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6400 CL32 Memory
Storage: Kingston NV2 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Storage: Crucial P3 Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X 12G GeForce RTX 3060 12GB 12 GB Video Card
Case: Lian Li A3-mATX MicroATX Mini Tower Case
Power Supply: ARESGAME AGS 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

I really appreciate the assistance!
