Octane vs Redshift - Which do you prefer and why?

So although these two are often named in one breath and do have lots of similarities on the surface, of course can't be directly compared.

What I am wondering though, is, those of you who have used both, which do you prefer for what kind of jobs and why?

What features do you see in one of the two that you'd like to have in the other?
