Pure White Screen Flickers on Desktop After Startup

Hi everyone,

I recently bought ASUS F15 with an intel 5-13620H and RTX 4060, it’s my first gaming laptop. I have noticed an issue like every time I start the laptop and get to the desktop, the screen flickers and shows a pure white screen. File Explorer also freezing. Is this normal, or or should I be concerned?
I have read that screen flickering can happen due to Optimus switching between the dedicated and integrated GPU, but I’m not sure. Do your gaming laptops do this too?

That flickering and white screen issue is not normal and might be related to the Optimus GPU switching. It could also be a driver issue. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date, and consider adjusting your power settings to see if that helps. Good luck!
